Avesta's Triphala ("three fruits") is a highly esteemed and widely utilized Ayurvedic formula for gastrointestinal health. Triphala is traditionally used to maintain a healthy colon, improve digestion and rejuvenate and strengthen tissues. Traditional Ayurvedic herbs are used for digestion and purification. Avesta Triphala is standardized and has 50% Tannins.

Avesta Triphala is the most pure and potent Triphala extract available. Active constituents known as tannins are thought responsible for many of its benefits. Typical Triphala products only contain 20% tannins. For maximum effectiveness this full spectrum extract is concentrated to 50% and is produced from sustainably wildcrafted fruits using only pure water. Every batch is laboratory tested for potency and purity.

The digestive benefits of Triphala (Terminalia bellerica, Terminalia chebula and Phyllanthus emblica) may be due to:

Binding to a digestive hormone linked with occasional gastrointestinal upset
